Sounds like one great event !
Count Me It !
I used to visit Burlington and environs on cheap courier flights……in the college vacations when I was a lecturer……a long time ago!
I was just planning a trip from the Isle of Man to revisit former mill working relatives in RI …..and to tootle about New England. Now I have a real reason to visit…….although I can’t justify such extravagant entertainments on my budget!
Oh no…….I used to stay at the Bel Aire motel……now I find that it’s gone!
Can anyone suggest a similar place in a similar bracket please?!
Or a camping site……..if it’s warm enough!
Hi Garry,
I apologize- I wasn’t anticipating a comment on this page. Burlington Hostel for $70 a night: https://www.theburlingtonhostel.com/

An underappreciated facet of Ethan Allen lore: right here in downtown Montreal is sepulchered his daughter Fanny, our memorable, legendary & miraculous belle Américaine… not to be confused with his equally beautiful eponymous spouse. Could it be that a coterie of nonplussed Vermonters — Freemasons, no doubt — disapproved of his daughter’s unorthodox conduct? It’s time, two centuries later, to her to steal an extra bow. The bicentenary of her death (at the age of 34) will occur on September 10, 2019.
Anyone attending this event is in for a treat Mark Steyn for those of you that have never heard him is a frequent contributor on Fox news and occasionally fills in for Rush Limbaugh on his radio show. His blend of British conservative humor is something that is entertaining to say the least. Really looking forward to seeing him!
